This zine explores three major themes in my life: work, love and death. In chronicles the year I quit my job and shifted my career from nonprofit arts administration to working with creative technology companies, walked away from a long term relationship, and experienced the death of my grandmother and the shifts that created in my family dynamic. It was a year of navigating the choppy waters of adulthood, sometimes gracefully and often times with a fair amount of stress and angst.
My personal zine that explores making music, art and building a life in my 30s in New York City. Includes personal essays, line drawings and infographics analyzing work, love, and money. Hand bound with a hand printed cover.
Speaking and Consulting
“Working with Eleanor removes the anxiety and stress from the grant-application process and makes it feel more like taking a pleasant walk on a bright, cool afternoon.” – Christopher Burke, photographer, filmmaker and director of Christopher Burke Studio
I work to make the lives of creatives better by helping them achieve their goals and make the business side of their work easier. I am attuned to the hopes, needs and challenges faced by artists and creative entrepreneurs. I have a decade of experience working for creative companies, art museums and artist service organizations as a marketer, community manager, fundraising consultant and educator and understand every aspect of the art world and process of building a creative business.
For independent creatives I offer strategy consulting and support services to strengthen the business side of your practice. I help you develop a strong foundation so that you can create boldly. This support includes developing a business plan, creative business coaching, and fundraising assistance including grant writing and guidance for setting up and running a crowdfunding campaign.
For businesses and organizations I offer workshops, talks, consulting, and project management services focused on strategic planning for growing creative businesses.
